Are you prepared to handle a fire emergency? While we hope you never have to face one, it is vital to be ready and equipped to handle the situation if it arises. That's where fire simulators come in. These powerful tools allow you to practice fire safety procedures and gain the confidence to handle the real thing. In this guide, we'll explore how to use a fire simulator safely and effectively, so you can protect yourself, your loved ones, and your property in case of an emergency. So, let's get started!
1. Operating temperature
The operating temperature range is primarily determined by the battery, and typically falls between -20°C and 40°C.
2. Usage scenarios
1). Suggest using it outdoors. For indoor-training, it must operate in a well-ventilated large area with doors and windows open.
2). Place the fire simulator on a flat surface with no combustible materials in the operation area.
3. Gas hose
1). Inspect the gas cylinder in good condition.
2). Place the gas cylinder upright.
3). Screw the regulator tightly on the gascylinder.
4). Gradually adjust the regulator to the max after igniting the fire.
5). The gas hose can’t be bend inoperation.
6). If no fire comes from the fire pan after trying 3~4 times, turn off the gas cylinder and regulator. Wait until 3~5mins, then restart the operation as before.
4. Remote control
1). Before ignition, you should make sure there are no people around the fire pan.
2). Don’t drop or bump it on the ground casually. This may break the device.
3). Don’t tug the cable hard from the firepan.
4). Wait for a few seconds before re-igniting the fire during an operation.
5). Take out the batteries after the operation.
5. Fire extinguisher
1). It can be used with the below fireextinguisher. Among these, we recommend dry powder fire extinguishers and CO2 fire extinguishers.
- Dry powder fire extinguisher
- CO2 fire extinguisher
- Foam fire extinguisher
- Fire hose reel
2). When using foam fire extinguishers, please note that some foam spilling out of the fire pan may trap gas and cause fire outside. So don’t stand close to the fire pan.
6. Cleaning
1). Disconnect the regulator and gas hose from the gas cylinder.
2). It is pretty hot after burning. Please note that you should wear gloves to clean it after the fire pan has cooled down.
3). Don’t immerse the fire pan entirely into the water. You can use a steel brush or a cloth to eliminate any residuals of fire extinguisher agent, such as the dry powder or foam.
7. Storage
1). Store in a dry place.
2). Coil up the gas pipes.
8. Warning
1). Do not smoke during the operation.
2). There is always a person close to the gas cylinder. If there is any problem, that person can turn off the gas cylinder in the shortest time.
